Guitars for Vets
Since 2007, Guitars for Vets has served at-risk United States Veterans impacted by PTSD and other service-related trauma. Through their unique, 10-week structured guitar instruction program, they put the healing power of music in the hands of our nation’s heroes, helping to foster renewal, connection and community.
The weekly guitar lessons provided by the G4V volunteers are individualized and designed to help students learn at their own pace. Monthly group sessions are organized at each chapter to provide Veterans a communal atmosphere to talk and continue to play music with peers who have shared similar experiences. In G4V group sessions, the connection created between individuals who are both warriors AND guitar players serves as a catalyst for positive human interaction.

We Are FREE
We Are Free is a faith-based NGO that combats human trafficking through preventative education, empowerment and the ultimate goal of eradication. To accomplish this, they raise awareness on the issue of human trafficking through community focused education to churches, businesses and civic organizations. We Are Free also provide empowerment for recovery to survivors of trafficking at their signature Hebron Hills restorative care campus, which is located in Southern Arkansas.
Hebron Hills, their restorative care facility, provides long-term temporary housing while addressing all physical, psychological and spiritual needs. It also provides all necessary educational requirements and skills-based training so that each survivor has the power to transition to an independent, sustainable life.

SongwritingWith:Soldiers
SongwritingWith:Soldiers uses songwriting as a catalyst for positive change. They offer their participants a unique way to tell their stories, rebuild trust, release pain, and forge new bonds. In SW:S retreat and workshop settings, service members are paired with professional songwriters to craft songs about their experiences, often about combat and the return home. Through their songs, participants rediscover their creativity and reconnect with family, friends, and communities. The songs are recorded and shared through CDs, concerts, and social media in order to bridge the divide between military and civilian communities, and build awareness of the challenges faced by our returning service members.
