Warranty
Our official warranty for all Kyser products is available on our Lifetime Guarantee page. You can also find general information regarding our famous limited lifetime warranty on the inside cover of the product packaging that accompanied your Quick-Change capo.
A product is covered under a Kyser warranty if the product fails to function properly due to defects in materials or workmanship. For more information on the Kyser warranty, visit our Kyser Warranty Page.
All Kyser Quick-Change capos are “Guaranteed for Life”---Kyser is proud to offer a lifetime warranty on all Quick-Change products and will repair or replace your capo at no additional charge.

All warranty claims must be submitted via the Capo Repair/Replace form that can be found here.
Spring repair is covered under the Kyser Lifetime Warranty. Warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.
Be sure you're using the correct capo, and that your capo is correctly placed on the fretboard per instructions. Utilize the handle also known as the tension arm which you can bend slightly to increase or decrease tension.
All warranty claims are fulfilled in a timely manner. A Repair request will generally take 1-2 weeks to be completed. Please note that shipping timelines for replacement capos may vary depending on location and any delays experienced by Kyser's postal carriers.
Product Information
All Kyser products are sources and manufactured through local businesses in the U.S.A. Our capos are made by hand using a comprehensive 14-step process at our production facility in Kaufman, Texas.
Kyser is proud to support small American businesses and its message of quality, American-made product by sourcing all parts of its capos from manufacturers in the United States.
We use high grade aluminum.
We use high quality polyester powder coating.
The header card insert will have a copyright date on it, but this is changed every year. There is no way to determine DOM from capo itself.
There are a number of factors that go into the decision to discontinue a product. These include, but aren't limited to, production cost, sales, consumer needs, etc.
We are constantly looking at ways to improve our capo. Our newest stamps include markers to help you easily identify which model of capo you have.
Sadly, we discontinued the series, and we no longer produce K-Lever capos.
Kyser custom capos are available to our artist endorsers and select charity partners. At this time, we do not offer personalization or customization as a service to the public. These services may be available at a future time.
Maintenance Questions
While this varies depending on the frequency of play and the age of the strings, we recommend changingyour strings every four to six weeks. Because Kyser capos are Guaranteed for Life, you can always submit a warranty claim for an unexpectedwear, tear and repair, and we'll replace the capo for you free of charge. With that in mind, we recommend considering a replacement capo when the quality of your tone or instrument is compromised by extended use of the accessory.
