Acoustic Guitar Capo

I already had a capo from them and knew it worked well. Technically the one I just got is my third since starting playing. What made me go for this is my new guitar is dark mahogany and I wanted a warmer colored capo. I cannot see how gorgeous it is.

This is the best capo -- you'd think the concept is so simple that you can't get it wrong, but alas. I had originally bought one made by Martin and regretted it. That one, for some reason, did not open wide enough for me to have it above all the strings at once before clamping it down. This one opens wide, and holds tight. And WOW is it gorgeous! I know I will own it for decades and if it should ever break, I'll be back to buy another Kyser for absolute sure!!

I got this capo originally because I lost my old one. But, I instantly fell in love with this one for the quality, it does not compare to my old one!! I also had the concern that it wouldn’t be long enough for my guitar neck, since I have a bigger guitar, but it fit just fine. And sounds very nice.

This is an excellent capo. I like that it stays out of the ways of my hands. My only criticism is that it is *VERY* tight.

This is the one for all others to beat. If you're not using a Kyser, then you need to re-evaluate what you need from a capo. Afford yourself the proper tools for your instrument to perform the way it is intended to.

I play for my church choir, I had bought a less expensive capo here on amazon not long. I was unhappy with the purchase and ended up buying this capo in its place, it is top quality and I wont make the mistake of getting another capo again.

Highly recommend. I have been using these for years. My first one was accidentally left at a Guitsr Center. Had it for 20 years.The only capo brand I use.

When I came back to my acoustic guitar after 40 years, I pulled out my old capo, made of steel, a strap and a lever. The strap was frayed, and I had developed severe thumb arthritis, so I looked around for something better. While most of you may be familiar with style, it was a game change for me. A little less convenient for putting in your pocket, but its length allowed me to use the base of my thumb to grip an squeeze it. It's a pain getting old, but little assists help.

Functions well but harder than others I’ve owned to put on and off.

Nice capo! Kyser's capos are just the right string pressure... no rattles or buzzes. This is a second one so I can keep one in each guitar case for those capo'd Tyler Childers tunes and the like. The finish is really durable on these, too. Made in the U.S.A. as a huge bonus.

My husband has used Kyser capos on his acoustic and electric guitars for years. His previous capo lasted about 10 years. Hopefully this one will last just as long.

Super strong tension and great sound!

I have 2 of these capos. They are sturdy and easy to use. Clamp tightly on frets, hard metal, easy to adjust and move from one fret to the next. Hold tightly so the sound is clear and the chords precise. I recommend these capos.

I had the same capo for many many years and had recently misplaced it and needed to finally purchase a new one. This is about the same price I paid for mine originally when I bought one more than 10 years ago and it is of the same quality. It is durable, easy to adjust, does well at holding the strings down with no muting or buzzing. It sounds great. Will definitely buy this brand again if I have the need, but if this thing holds up like mine in the past, I may not need to do so for quite some time, which I appreciate.

Purchased largely from reviews and others’ suggestions. Works well, holding down strings, and easy to put on and take off. Seems relatively well made but don’t have a lot of experience with capos. Highly recommend, no negatives that I can see
